It was another regular day of my normal unsatisfactory routine. Waking up to go a job I was no longer passionate about and feeling too lethargic to entertain weekend plans. I couldn’t stop my mind racing about the possible changes I could make that could make my life feel more like my own.

Having the choice to change and start again is the biggest blessing given to us all. If your day’s sound anything like how mines used to be and your now finding yourself scouring the internet wondering why the color has leaked out of your reality. It may be because your beginning to intuitively know there’s more out there for you.

“Living your best life is your most important journey” — Oprah Winfrey

1. YOU’R BEGINNING TO OBSERVE ALL ASPECTS OF YOUR LIFE

The relationship I thought was my last began to look unbalanced and friendships seemed to be taking more from me than i originally realized. My day dreams of “what could be” advanced way beyond what I’ve ever expirienced and currently lived in.

This moment is proof of internal expansion and rarely can be stopped once started. Something within you is asking for more and believes something more aligned with you is out there. It doesn’t always mean that you’ll cut off all your friends and leave your relationship.

You begin to see through the lens of “what if” and “is this what makes me truly happy?”.

2. YOUR INTERESTS ARE CHANGING WITHOUT NOTICE

The day’s of wanting to drink and dance until sunrise have suddenly disappeared and replaced with new interests. Personally I went from partying every weekend to deciding to meditate and study veganism.

I couldn’t tell you specifically what made my interests shifts it just started to happen over time and the enjoyment of my old activities were gone. If your starting to notice the level of enjoyment of your old activities decreasing and boredom setting it. It is probably time to follow those instincts of change and see where it lands you.

3. YOUR STARTING TO REALIZE YOU DON’T KNOW YOURSELF AS MUCH AS YOU THOUGHT.

This is a strange expirience, once you listen to your gut and stop taking part in the old outdated patterns that once brought you contentment. You’ll soon find yourself sitting and wondering what to do with yourself.

If the old isn’t fun anymore, now what?

I was able to find my new footing by following each hobby that popped up in my head. Unfortunately, the human mind is only able to draw from the past so when it comes to the new you have to take action. Through different expiriences and following the bread crumbs you’ll eventually stumble upon a new hobbie that leads to a new passion and wallah.

4. YOU HAVE AN ANXIOUSNESS TO FIND YOUR PURPOSE.

Now that you’ve gotten some footing on the new you that’s developing and reaching above your current way of life. You’ll soon be questioning what it is you want to do in this world.

I believe using your hobbies and skills to help other’s is the epitome of emotional contentment. The true success that everyone is looking for is full of passion and being able to touch other people’s lives. The anxiousness to find your personal path starts to rise once you break out of the old routines. You begin to question the limits you’ve placed on yourself and day dream about how expansive you can start living your life.

Go with this passion to break out of the mold and recreate your life. It may feel scary as thoughts pop up to walk away from things that no longer serve you. However, in the end you’ll find that it was all worth it and it isn’t as scary as it looks, it never is.

5. YOUR WILLING TO WALK AWAY FROM OLD SITUATIONS TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE

Now the passion is full drive, the hobbies are slowly bringing out this new version of you that you didn’t know exsisted. Your friends and family are witnessing you changing at a rapid rate and your self comtentment is becoming a major focus in your life.

Because you are able to compare your old way of being to this new exciting way of living. Your more discerning about what you spend your energy on and naturally ready to walk away from what doesn’t serve you. This wasn’t something I was conciously aware of in the moment I just found my patience for certain things disappear.

I could no longer pretend to be someone I wasn’t or act like I enjoyed doing the old things I used to do. The battle between how other’s see you and how you want to live your life disappears and when this happens. Your ready to really take your life to a whole new level.
